How to become an IPS officer ?

IPS बनने के लिए क्या qualification चाहिए?
Age criteria क्या होती है?

Ips officer बनने के लिए जो exam होता है उसे UPSC conduct करती है।जिसका मतलब होता है,Union Public Service Commission
इसके अन्तर्गत जो services आती है उनका नाम है IAS,IPS,IFS,IRS ओर एसी ही 24 अलग-अलग तरह की services है।
IPS भी उनमें से ही एक service है जिसे Indian police service कहते है।
IAS ओर IPS दोनो ही Services के लिए एक ही exam होता है बस IPS के लिए एक एग्जाम बढ़ जाता है और वो है Physical test।

IPS बनने के लिए क्या qualification चाहिए?

आपको किसी भी मान्यता प्राप्त कॉलेज से किसी भी विषय मै न्यूनतम अंको से स्नातक की degree प्राप्त होनी चहिए,या फिर आप यदि स्नातक अंतिम वर्ष या अंतिम सेमेस्टर के विद्यार्थी है तब भी आप IPS के लिए form भर सकते है।

अगर आपने BA, BBA, BCA, B.sc ,B.com, engineering, medical या कोई भी degree course किया हो तो आप सिविल सर्विसेज का exam दे सकते हैं।
एक बात का आप ध्यान रखे की IAS या IPS बनने के लिऐ आपका Indian citizen होना compulsory है।
लेकिन इसके अलावा जो other services है जो administrator के अंर्तगत आते है जैसे IFS, IRS आदि उनके लिए आप migrate हो सकते है। जैसे की नेपाल,भूटान,पाकिस्तान के migrate हो सकते है।

Age criteria क्या होती है?

Age criteria को लेकर काफी लोग confuse रहते है।
IPS बनने के लिए जो Age criteria चहिए वो है –

General – 21-32 years

OBC – 21-35 years

ST/SC – 21-37 years

इसके अलावा यदि आप जम्मू काश्मीर से है तो General के लिए 21-37 years है।
वही physical challenge students के लिए 10 साल की छूट है वो maximum 42 years तक फॉर्म भर सकते है।
ओर जो disable है यानी की blind है deaf है तो उनमें General के लिए 21-37 OBC के लिए 21-38 ओर ST/SC के लिए 21-40 years तक maximum Age limit है।
Age से related सारी जानकारी तैयारी करने वाले students को पता होना जरूरी है।

Physical test मै क्या होगा?

अगर आप IPS officer बनना चाहते है तो आपको physical test देना होता है।
IPS बनने के लिए जो भी physical requirement की जरूरत है निचे दी गई है

Height requirement –

Male(पुरुष)-

General category के पुरुष की height कम से कम 165 cm होनी चाहिए।
अगर आप OBC, Sc, St category के हैं तो आपकी height कम से कम 160 cm होनी चाहिए।

Female(महिला)-

General category की महिला की height कम से कम 150 cm होनी चाहिए।
अगर आप Sc, St or OBC category की है तो आपकी height कम से कम 145 cm होनी चाहिए।

Chest requirement –

पुरुष उम्मीदवार के लिए chest यानी कि सीना 84 cm का होना चाहिए।
और महिला उम्मीदवार के लिए chest 79 cm का होना चाहिए।
Eye sight की बात करे तो healthy आंखों के लिए Distance vision 6/6 या 6/9 होना चाहिए।
ओर कमजोर आंखो के लिए Distance vision 6/12 या 6/9 होना चाहिए

Exam form कब भर सकते है?

आज के टाइम मै कैसी भी competition exam का फॉर्म कब निकल रहा है ये जानना बोहोत ही आसान हो गया है
जो लोग IPS या IAS बनना चाहते है और उसकी तैयारी कर रहे उन्हें इस बात की जानकारी आसानी से हो जाती है।
वैसे तो normally form निकलने की संभावना February के महीने मैं ही होती है।
FORM ONLINE भराता है।ओर form भरते समय आपको सावधानी रखना जरूरी है क्योंकि इसमें आपको attempt बोहोत काम मिलते है।

आप कितने बार attempt कर सकते हो?

General – 6 Attempts
OBC – 9 Attempts
ST/SC – Age limit खतम होने तक attempts दे सकते है।
Jammu and Kashmir – up to the age limit

अगर आप फॉर्म भरने के बाद exam नही देते है तो आपका attempt count नही होगा।

Exam के कितने stage होते है?

1) Preliminary (prelims)
2) Mains
3) Interview exam

1) Preliminary (prelims)-

prelims exam मै total 2 paper होते है, पहला general studies ओर दूसरा c-SAT का paper होता है।
दोनो ही paper 200-200 अंक के होते है और दोनो मै No. Of questions अलग-अलग होते है।
पहले paper मै 100 ओर दूसरे पेपर मै 80 questions होते है।
यह exam आप हिंदी या अंग्रेजी किसी भी भाषा मै दे सकते है ये आपके ऊपर निर्भर करता है की आप कोन सी भाषा मै ज्यादा comfortable है

Prelims का syllabus –

पहले paper मै general studies से questions पूछे जाते है जैसे की current affairs, History, Geography, Constitution, Economics, General issue, General science आदि से questions पूछे जाते है।
दूसरे paper की बात करे तो ये paper C-Sat का है इसमें Bank, SSC जैसे questions होते है। जैसे comprehension, Logical reasoning , Decision marking आदि।
Prelims exam सिर्फ एक qualification exam होता है यह सिर्फ एक प्रक्रिया है mains exam तक पहोचने की।
पहला paper merit बनाता है जिससे आप mains के exam मै जाने के लिए qualified हो जाते है।

Prelims का Cut off कितना होता है?

Prelims के लिए पिछले साल 2021 के cut off marks कुछ इस प्रकार है –

General – 87.54
EWS – 80.14
OBC – 84.85
SC – 75.41
ST – 70.71
PwBD -(l) -1 68.02
PwBD -(2) -67.33
PwBD -(3) -43.09
PwBD -(5) -45.80

2) Mains exam –

Mains exam मै total 9 paper होते है total marks 1750 number का होता है। 9 paper मै से सबसे ज्यादा ध्यान 7 paper पर देना है क्योंकि merit in 7 paper से ही बनती है इसके अलावा जो 2 paper होते है वो qualifying paper होते है
इसके marks count नहीं होते है। हालाकि दोनो मै आपको 33% marks लाना ही पढ़ता है। एक paper English का ओर दूसरा local language का होता है।

Mains exam का syllabus –

Paper 1 मै आपको general essay लिखना होता है आपको total 2 essay लिखना होता है
दोनो ही 125-125 marks के होते है।
Paper 2 general studies का होता है।
जिसमें आपको Indian history and culture, world geography and society. से questions आते है।
Paper 3 मै constitution, politics, social justice and international relation से questions आते है।
Paper 4 मै Techno log, Economic development, Biodiversity , environment security and disaster management से questions आते है।
Paper 5 मै Ethics, Integrity and Aptitude से questions आते है।
Paper 6 ओर 7 ये दोनो ही optional paper होते है मतलब आपको जो भी subject select करना है आपको उसी का एग्जाम देना होगा यहाँ खास बात ये है की इसमें 2 paper होते है जो की 6th या 7th हो सकते है।

Mains का Cut off कितना होता है?

Mains के लिए पिछले साल 2021 के cut off marks कुछ इस प्रकार है –

3) Interview

यह एक personality test होता है जो की काफी ज्यादा मुश्किल होता है यही पर आपकी असली परीक्षा होती है।
ज्यादातर लोग prelims ओर mains तो निकाल लेते है लेकिन Interview मै reject हो जाते है।
Interview करीब 45 minute का होता है। इस Interview को आपको clear करना पढ़ता है।
Interview में काफी tricky और कठिन सवाल पूछे जाते हैं तो इसके लिए आपको अच्छी तरह तैयारी करना होता है।
Interview मै reject होने के बोहोत सी वजह हो सकती है जैसे student मै confidence की कमी, बात करने का तरीका,Interview room मै enter करने का तरीका,आपका dress पहनने का तरीका इन सभी चीजों पर वहा Focus किया जाता है।

Salary कितनी मिलती है?

Salary की बात की जाए तो यहां salary category के हिसाब से होती है आपका rank क्या है और आपको कोनसी Job मिली है।
एक IAS ओर IPS officer को शुरुआत में 7वें वेतन आयोग के हिसाब से हर महीने 56100 रुपए basic salary मिलती है।
इसके अलावा उन्हें कई तरह के allowances भी दिए जाते हैं। समय के साथ-साथ salary में बढ़ोतरी भी होती रहती है।
